A few pieces of cheddar cheese were sprinkled across the living room coffee table from my son’s afternoon snack. I put them into a container, in the fridge, even though they were dried out and chewed on.

A string cheese, half eaten, half left behind, strung, on the kitchen stool, from another afternoon snack.

Fried chicken, made by my stepfather, brought to my salad potluck…for those who needed meat. It was very good and he offered to leave the leftovers with us.

Half a brick of cream cheese, wrapped in foil, sitting in a bin in the fridge.

I broke all of this up and chopped the meat and smeared the cream cheese, added mustard, and made a

Grilled Three Cheese & Chicken sandwich.

With apples on the side.

It. was. amazing. !!
