• 4 chicken breasts or 6 chicken legs
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 cup bell peppers
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 small cabbage, about 3 cups
  • 3/4 cup sauce:
  • (soy sauce, ginger, sesame,
  • sugar, water, pineapple juice,
  • garlic, onion,)

Here is a recipe for one of the yummiest things I make in my slow cooker crock pot.

Take 3 to 5 chicken breasts or 6 legs and place them in the crock pot. You can even make this with the meat still frozen and add 2 hours to cook time.

Next add a small head of cabbage, chopped or shredded.

Add 1 cup of chopped bell peppers, I often use the frozen bagged variety if I don’t have any fresh ones.

Add 1 can of chopped pineapple or 1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks or fresh of course.

Add 1 cup chopped or shredded carrots.

Lastly I use Trader Joe’s “Soyaki” sauce and add about 3/4 cup, drizzled over everything. You can also make your own sauce by adding soy sauce and teriyaki sauce, ginger, sesame seeds, or sweet and sour sauce together. If I make it from scratch, it’s a little different every time. And if I used canned pineapple, I add all of the juice.

Cook in the crock pot for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low or 10 hours on low if meat is frozen.

Serve over cooked brown rice.

This meal is so tasty! It’s one of my husband’s favorites that I make and it’s so easy and healthy. Try it sometime and tell me what you think.
